Alix Lynx beyond work

Travel, music and animals appear throughout her conversations about life away from production.

An island visit

During summer 2025, Lynx travelled to San Cristóbal in the Galápagos Islands. She remembered returning to Inti Garden for its vegan pizza and outdoor setting.

The ocean is a favourite place for her, and she has imagined studying the islands’ sea lions as an alternative career.

Music and small rituals

Her first concert was Britney Spears at a local state fair, attended with a childhood friend and their mothers. For karaoke, she named Eminem’s The Real Slim Shady.

She also enjoys small, understated black-ink tattoos. An ocean creature was among the ideas she was considering in her 2025 interview.

Animals close to home

Aspen, her miniature Australian shepherd, features in her account of everyday life. She has also described animal rescue as an interest beyond her career.

Asked to imagine another occupation, she suggested a sanctuary or dog rescue. Her podcast biography also mentions supporting animal-rescue organisations.
